Kineco Group acquires TRB Lightweight Structures Ltd., UK – Strengthening Global Rail business strategy & product portfolio.

We are delighted to announce that Kineco Group has completed the acquisition of TRB Lightweight Structures, based in Huntingdon, UK, a company with over 70 years of expertise in lightweight and sustainable solutions for the mobility sector and a trusted supplier to leading rolling stock manufacturers across U.K, Europe and Asia.

This acquisition marks a significant milestone for 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐨 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐥, our flagship rail business, and reinforces our strategy to become a global leader in turnkey rail interior systems. After our maiden acquisition in December 2024 of Semvac A/S Denmark–a prominent rail sanitation systems supplier to the global rolling stock industry, this marks another step in consolidating our multiple rail brands under the 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐨 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐥 umbrella. TRB brings extensive engineering and manufacturing capabilities in detrainment doors, internal and external passenger door leaves, driver cab end wall and fire doors, aluminum honeycomb flooring and partitions, and storage cabinets—further expanding our global rail portfolio.
